This is rather bizarre.
Fundsmith isn't a global tracker 63% USA and roughly 18% UK and 18% Europe
Nothing in japan, Asia, South America, Canada, Oz, so not very global

Apologies, as I am always banging this particular drum.
Look at where those companies listed derive their profits from and of course it is very global.

Colgate for example get over 60% of its sales from abroad, and over 70% of its earnings, in fact it pretty much has South America sewn up.

Others on the list tell a similar tale.

Global brands that people use every day, and try not to tinker. That is pretty much Mr Smith's strategy. Sounds easier than it is of course.

Hi

To me there is a real difference between a Global trust and a trust that holds companies that are global revenue earners.

Global trusts tend to have many many components in order to get their global exposure and the performance of any single component tends to be irrelevant to the overall....... they tend to move with the tide and the thing that matters most is regional asset allocation

Fundsmith is a stock picker against individual companies meeting preset criteria - those criteria naturally exclude some sectors completely - not trying to guess geography, currency, sector and stoc like a global trust

FRCL has 427 stocks
Bankers 194
Vanguard All World has over 3000
Fsmith has .......28

Agree. FRCL and BNKR have basically been index trackers for the last 10 years.
