What dose equal weight?

If a stock or share has been upgraded or downgraded to equal weight What dose it mean?

In this context it is part of a three-tier system that uses phrases such as "overweight", "equal weight" or "underweight" to indicate a stock's attractiveness relative to others. A stock rated "equal weight" would typically mean that in the analyst's opinion the stock is no better (or worse) value than other stocks in that sector.
