Hi all,

I have just had a "disagreement" with my brokers regarding the filing of interim accounts.

I will quote one instance, which is Smith and Nephew, who filed their interim accounts (for 30th June 2017) on the 28th July.

As off today my brokers, have not update their financials to reflect the intterim.

When I complained to my brokers they (eventually) admitted the delay of 4 months was not acceptable, however they initially said that this was "out of their control" because the company had not released their interim, and only said that that the situation would be looked into when I complained.

IMO 4 four months is not acceptable for a broker with a reputation for providing complete research for their clients.

Before you ask the broker is a FTSE 100 company.

Seems a bit strong to me, perhaps the person you spoke to was simply mistaken or misunderstood something.
