In an attempt to diversify my portfolio I am considering a foray into property. I am looking at the following.

Student lettings such as ESP or UTG
FPO
Shaftesbury. A short term play on takeover hopes

Any comments or suggestions for alternatives would be welcome

Tritax Big Box and Barratt Developments ..... all you ever need.

Possibly First State Global Listed Infrastructure.

I hold all of these.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have made investments in

Target Healthcare - Care homes
Empiric - Student lettings
Regional Reit - Varous commercial outside London and SE
Primary Health Properties - Health Centres

I am still looking for other suggestions. I don't want anything in London or SE

RDI - if you want a bit of a punt
SREI - a bit toppy now, but mainly invested out of the big smoke.

There's also VIN. This is a bit odd with half in equities and half in property.

I hold these and BBOX, which everyone in Britain seems to hold.

RDI looks interesting, why has the share price been dropping for 3 years ?

Debt and churn. They have been buying and selling property and increasing debt.

Hopefully, things are calming down.
